19th Century Russian Brass Candelabra Candleholders – a Pair

An enchanting and elaborate pair of 19th-century Russian candelabra, masterfully crafted from solid brass with rich Turkish design influence. These monumental pieces stand 30 inches tall and command attention with their grand scale and intricate ornamentation.

Each candelabrum features a baluster-turned vasiform body raised on a pierced domed base, elaborately decorated with arabesque and floral scroll motifs. The central stem supports seven candle arms, radiating in a symmetrical, swirling arrangement with pierced drip trays and bobeches, all finely detailed with foliate patterns. The openwork and scrolling designs reflect Ottoman artistic influence, which was particularly fashionable in Russian decorative arts during the latter half of the 19th century.

These candelabra make a dramatic statement in a grand dining room, entry hall, or atop a sideboard or mantel.

Made in Russia, circa 1870.
