Early 19th Century French Provincial Charles X Pearwood Nightstand or Cabinet

A charming and finely constructed small French Provincial cabinet or nightstand from the Charles X period, crafted in Normandy circa 1820. This petite piece is made from richly toned pearwood with a warm, lustrous patina and features a beautifully inlaid geometric top, adding a refined architectural touch.
Beneath the top lies a single drawer with an original brass pull, sitting above a paneled cupboard door exhibiting a striking book-matched grain pattern. The lower edge is adorned with carved gadrooning above shaped bracket feet, contributing to the piece’s stately yet rustic elegance.
Compact in scale and generous in character, this nightstand is an excellent addition to traditional, country, or eclectic interiors, perfect for use beside a bed or as a charming side cabinet.
