Set of Three 19th Century Stair Balustrades Converted to a Table Lamps

A charming trio of one-of-a-kind table lamps crafted from 19th-century American stair balustrades, salvaged and reimagined in New York, circa 1890. Each lamp retains its original hand-turned wood form with a beautifully aged surface, layers of naturally crackled and flaked white paint revealing the deep patina of the old pine beneath. The balustrades are mounted on simple square wooden plinths and topped with hand-fabricated zinc collars and aged brass lamp fittings, lending an understated industrial touch.

Each lamp tells its own story through the nuanced imperfections of time: worn edges, visible joints, oxidized metal accents, and subtle color variation all speak to a life well-lived in an architectural past. Electrified and ready to use, these lamps are ideal for adding sculptural, rustic character to both traditional and modern interiors.
